Shipping Policy
01 Scope & Applicability
This Shipping Policy (the “Policy”) governs the international and domestic dispatch of goods sold by Pingxiang Kexing Chemical Packing Co., Ltd. (also operating as Pingxiang Advanced Ceramic Technology Co., Ltd.; hereafter “we”, “us” or “Kexing”). It applies to every order accepted through our website inquiry form, email correspondence, or signed sales contract, and forms part of the commercial agreement between Kexing and the buyer (“Customer”).
Where a separately signed sales contract or purchase order contains specific shipping terms that conflict with this Policy, the terms of that signed contract shall prevail.
02 Products We Ship
This Policy covers all product families manufactured at our Pingxiang facility, including but not limited to:
-
Honeycomb ceramic regenerators (mullite, cordierite, corundum, silicon carbide and related compositions)
-
Honeycomb ceramic catalyst carriers, including TWC and DPF substrates for automotive exhaust applications
-
Precious-metal catalysts and ozone-oxidation catalysts

Where the goods are made-to-order — that is, manufactured to dimensions, hole geometry, surface area or adsorption-rate specifications supplied by the Customer — the lead time and packaging arrangements described in this Policy apply after the Customer’s drawings or technical sheet have been confirmed in writing.
03 Destinations Served
Kexing exports to environmental-protection, metallurgical, petrochemical, automotive, fresh-air HVAC and water-treatment clients worldwide. We ship from the People’s Republic of China through major export ports including Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, with the loading port to be confirmed at the time of order.
Some destinations may be subject to export-control review, sanctions screening, or restrictions on the carriage of catalysts, activated carbon or precious-metal-bearing goods. We reserve the right to decline or delay any shipment that cannot be lawfully exported under applicable Chinese, destination-country, or international trade regulations.
04 Trade Terms (Incoterms)
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Kexing quotes and ships under Incoterms® 2020. The trade term applicable to a given order will be specified in the Pro Forma Invoice and the signed sales contract. We are able to ship under the following terms, subject to confirmation per order:
-
EXW — Customer arranges all transport from our Pingxiang facility
-
FOB (default for sea freight) — we deliver to a nominated Chinese port of loading
-
CFR / CIF — we arrange ocean freight (and, for CIF, marine insurance) to the destination port
-
CPT / CIP — available for air freight or multimodal shipments
-
DAP / DDP — available on request for selected destinations, subject to feasibility study
Each Incoterm allocates the cost, risk and obligations of the shipment differently between Kexing and the Customer. Customers unfamiliar with Incoterms® 2020 are encouraged to consult their freight forwarder before confirming the order.
05 Lead Time & Production Schedule
Production is scheduled only after (a) the technical specification has been confirmed in writing by both parties, and (b) the deposit (where applicable) has been received and cleared.
Lead time varies materially with the product family, order quantity, custom geometry, kiln cycle, and quality-inspection requirements. The Pro Forma Invoice for each order will state the estimated production lead time and the target ready-to-ship date. Kexing will use commercially reasonable efforts to meet the stated lead time; however, lead times are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated as such in the signed sales contract.
Note on custom ordersHoneycomb ceramic regenerators, structured packings and catalysts that are produced to non-standard dimensions or non-standard chemical formulations may require additional time for tooling, sample approval, and post-firing inspection. These steps will be reflected in the lead time quoted in your Pro Forma Invoice.
06 Packaging Standards
All goods are packed for international ocean and air transit. Standard export packaging is calibrated to the product family and the expected handling conditions, and typically includes the following elements:
-
Honeycomb ceramic regenerators & catalyst substrates: wrapped individually with foam or PE film, placed in fitted cartons with internal cushioning, then strapped onto fumigation-treated wooden pallets and shrink-wrapped.
-
Ceramic balls, packings and ceramsite: packed in woven polypropylene bags or jumbo bags, palletised and shrink-wrapped.
-
Catalysts, molecular sieves and activated alumina: sealed in moisture-resistant inner liners inside steel drums or cartons, then palletised; some adsorbent products are vacuum-sealed where required for activity preservation.
-
Honeycomb activated carbon: packed in cartons with desiccant where appropriate.
Wooden packaging materials used for export comply with ISPM 15 phytosanitary requirements and are heat-treated and stamped accordingly. Custom packaging (printed cartons, customer-specified pallet size, full-container bulk loading) is available on request and may affect both unit cost and lead time.
07 Freight Modes & Carriers
The default mode of shipment for production orders is ocean freight, in either Less-than-Container Load (LCL) or Full Container Load (FCL) configuration. Air freight is used for samples, urgent replacements or low-volume catalyst shipments. Rail and road freight may be used for selected destinations within Asia and Europe via China–Europe rail corridors.
Where the trade term assigns carrier nomination to Kexing (CFR, CIF, CPT, CIP, DAP or DDP), we will book through reputable ocean and air carriers. Where the trade term assigns carrier nomination to the Customer (EXW, FOB), the Customer or its nominated freight forwarder is responsible for the booking; we will load and hand over the goods in accordance with the agreed term.
08 Shipping Documents
Each export consignment is dispatched with a complete documentation set. Standard documents issued by Kexing include:
-
Commercial Invoice
-
Packing List, including gross weight, net weight, carton/pallet count and dimensions
-
Bill of Lading (for sea freight) or Air Waybill (for air freight)
-
Certificate of Origin, where applicable to the destination market
-
Mill Test Certificate / Certificate of Analysis (CoA) covering material composition and key technical parameters
-
Inspection Report covering dimensional, physical and thermal-shock checks for the relevant product family
-
ISPM 15 fumigation/heat-treatment certificate for wooden packaging, where wooden packaging is used
-
MSDS / SDS for catalysts, activated carbon and other regulated materials, where applicable
Additional documents (legalised invoices, embassy attestations, pre-shipment inspection reports by SGS, BV, Intertek or equivalent) can be arranged on request. Costs and lead times for additional documentation are quoted separately.
09 Title, Risk & Insurance
Risk of loss and damage to the goods passes from Kexing to the Customer at the point specified by the applicable Incoterm. For example, under FOB this occurs when the goods are placed on board the vessel at the port of loading; under CIF, risk passes at the same point even though Kexing arranges and pays for ocean freight and minimum-cover marine insurance to the destination port.
Title to the goods passes to the Customer upon receipt by Kexing of full payment for the relevant consignment, unless a different milestone is expressly agreed in the signed sales contract.
Where the agreed Incoterm does not include insurance arranged by Kexing (e.g. FOB, CFR, EXW, CPT, DAP), the Customer is responsible for arranging marine cargo insurance covering the transit. We strongly recommend that Customers obtain all-risk cargo insurance for ceramic and catalyst shipments, as these goods can be sensitive to severe handling impact.
10 Inspection on Arrival
Customers should inspect the outer condition of cartons, drums, bags and pallets immediately on arrival, and inspect the goods themselves within a reasonable period after unpacking. Any visible damage to outer packaging should be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt at the time of unloading.
Quantity discrepancies, missing items or visible damage should be reported to Kexing in writing within fourteen (14) days of delivery, accompanied by photographs and the relevant carrier documentation.
11 Damage & Claims
Where damage occurs during transit and the applicable Incoterm places transit risk with the Customer, the claim is to be pursued by the Customer against the carrier and/or the cargo insurer. Kexing will provide the supporting documentation reasonably required for such claims, including invoices, packing lists, photographs of the original packaging, and manufacturing records.
Where the goods are confirmed to deviate from the agreed technical specification — for example, in dimensional tolerance, chemical composition, specific surface area or thermal-shock performance — the Customer should contact our after-sales engineering team in accordance with the warranty terms set out in the signed sales contract. Replacement, rework or credit will be handled per those warranty terms.
12 Sample Shipments
Samples can be provided on request. Sample availability, sample fee, and freight charges are confirmed case by case depending on the product family and the destination country. Samples are typically dispatched by international air courier.
Samples are subject to the same export-control and packaging standards as production shipments, and are accompanied by a proforma invoice declared at the appropriate sample value for customs purposes.
13 Duties, Taxes & Customs
Unless the agreed Incoterm is DDP, all import duties, value-added tax, customs clearance fees, terminal handling charges at the destination, and any other destination-country taxes or levies are for the account of the Customer.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the imported goods comply with the laws and technical regulations of the destination country, including but not limited to environmental-protection regulations, REACH and analogous chemical regulations, and any product-specific certifications. Kexing will provide reasonable technical support, but cannot guarantee admissibility into a given market.
14 Changes to This Policy
Kexing may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, in carrier arrangements, or in applicable trade regulations. The version number and effective date at the top of this page indicate the version currently in force. Orders are governed by the version of this Policy in force on the date the order is accepted by Kexing, unless the signed sales contract for that order specifies otherwise.
