Ceramic Geometric Packing

Ceramic corrugated packing is a new type of structured packing composed of many packing units with the same geometric shape. It has the advantages of large specific surface area, high flux, low resistance, high efficiency, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, large operating elasticity, and less obvious amplification effect. Due to the unique structure of ceramics, they have good hydrophilicity and can form extremely thin liquid film turbulence on their surface.

 

The inclined and tortuous channels of air flow can promote air flow but not block it, making ceramic fillers comparable to metal fillers. However, their corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance cannot be compared to metal fillers. The surface structure of ceramic corrugated fillers has good wetting properties, which can accelerate the flow of liquids and minimize the amount of stagnant liquid in the fillers, thereby reducing the chances of overheating, polymerization, and coking.
